How to play Bible Millionaire
The rules are the ones you already know from the show. Fifteen Bible questions, four answers each, one right. Get it right and you move up the ladder; get it wrong and the game is over.
- Questions 1–5 come from the easy set, 6–10 from the medium set, and 11–15 from the hard set.
- Sixty seconds per question. The clock pauses while you are using a lifeline.
- One tap answers. The answer you tap is your answer — so be sure before you commit.
- $1,000 and $32,000 are safe havens. Once you pass them, a wrong answer still leaves you with that amount.
- You can walk away at any point and keep what you have earned.
- Keyboard players: press A, B, C or D to answer.
The three lifelines
50:50
Two of the three wrong answers disappear, leaving you a coin flip between the right answer and one decoy. Reliable, and it works exactly the same on every question.
Phone a Friend
You call a friend or family member and read them the question. How much help you get depends on how hard the question is: on an easy question they will name the right answer outright, on a medium question they narrow it to two, and on a hard question they will offer three possibilities — and only lean toward the correct one about half the time. Just like the real thing, the friend is worth listening to but not worth trusting blindly.
Ask the Audience
The studio audience votes and you see the bar chart. Audiences are very good on easy Bible questions and much shakier on hard ones, where the crowd sometimes backs the wrong answer with confidence.
What is in the question bank?
There are 1,128 unique Bible trivia questions in this game, covering the Old and New Testaments — creation and the patriarchs, the exodus and the law, the kings and prophets, the gospels, Acts, the epistles, and Revelation. Each game shuffles a fresh fifteen, so the same run almost never comes up twice. The harder questions carry chapter-and-verse references so you can look up anything that surprises you.
